Controllable: Process steps are identified, the who does it, how does he do it, when is it done, and why is it done are identified, thus the process steps are controlled
Observable: since the process is documented and the “Who Does What” is known, the process can easily be observed to identify the best, safest, fastest… methods to perform a task

Measurable: since the process steps are clearly identified, work content can be measured against time, errors, productivity…etc
Improvable: what is measured can be improved, similarly, what is documented can be diagnosed and improved

Repeatable: Standardized processes; the same process can be performed by different employees in the same way, with the same quality, within the same timeframe
Trainable: Reduced learning curve/training time for new employees
Transferable: Ensured business continuity; know-how is not monopolized by specific employees. Alternatively, delegating tasks becomes virtually risk-free
